Posted by PAC Academy FC have secured qualification to play in the 2023/24 Division One League after beating Mahala Football Academy in the final of the Ashanti Regional Division Two Middle League.
The two teams secured a place in the final of the middle league at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium after topping their respective groups in the group stages of the middle league.
PAC Academy FC secured a place in the final after topping Group A with 7 points, winning their first group game 2-1 against Royal Kumapem FC, beating First Klass FC 1-0 in the second game and drawing 0-0 with Pro Players Academy in the final game.
Mahala Football Academy on the other hand earned a place in the final after topping Group B with 6 points, losing their first game 1-0 to Benab FC, before bouncing back in the final two games with a 1-0 win against Jachie United and a 2-0 win against Kumasi Academicals.
In the final, PAC Academy defeated Mahala Football Academy 2-0 to secure a place in the 2023/24 Division One League. Emmanuel Mintakwah and Charles Asante scored the goals in the first half.
PAC Academy will compete in Zone Two of the 2023/24 Division One League.
