Paa Kwesi Fabin arrives at Legon Cities as replacement for Maxwell Konadu

betPawa Premier League side, Legon Cities have appointed Paa Kwesi Fabin as their new head coach, effective Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

The experienced gaffer joins the Royals as replacement for Maxwell Kanadu who left the club at the end of the previous season and was recently appointed as head coach of Nsoatreman FC.

“Legon Cities FC is pleased to announce Paa Kwesi Fabin will become head coach of the team from the beginning of the 2023/24 season,” Legon Cities said in a statement.

“Coach Fabin will begin his new role on 1 August with details on his contract to be revealed soon,” statement added.

Paa Kwesi Fabin arrives at Legon Cities at the back of a fine season with Aduana FC, where he led the team to a second place finish.

Speaking after securing the signature of Paa Kwesi Fabin, deputy CEO of Legon Cities, Kwabena Onyina Asenso expressed his excitement and as well vowed to provide the highly respected coach all the necessary support.

“We are excited to bring in an experienced coach like Fabin. He is a winner who has coached at the highest level. We will provide him all the necessary support to succeed here. We are looking forward to having a wonderful season together,” said Kwabena Onyina Asenso as quoted by the club.

Paa Kwesi Fabin arrives at Legon Cities with enormous experience, having previously managed Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Inter Allies, Hearts of Lions, Berekum Arsenal, Wassaman United and most recently Aduana FC.

The 64-year-old has also handled the Ghana U-17 and U-23 team, and also the Uganda U17 and U20 side.
