Posted by Ghana drew 1-1 against Angola at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda in the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The first half of the game saw no goals. Angola created the best chances of the half but were denied the opener by Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi.
Six minutes into the second half, Angola were awarded a spot-kick, Lucas João stepped up and converted the kick, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.
Ghana after going down stepped up their performance and got the equalizer in the 72nd minute, Osman Bukari finished off a good work by Joseph Painstil down the right flank.
The Black Stars in the remaining minutes of the game pushed for the winner but it wasn’t to be as they struck the post and missed a huge opportunity, both coming from the foot of Joseph Paintsil.
