Legon Cities have confirmed the departure of head coach Goran Barjaktarevic.
The Bosnian manager was relieved off his duties after failing to win any of the club’s first two league games, drawing 1-1 against Berekum Chelsea and losing 3-0 to Great Olympics.
Goran Barjaktarevic was announced as Legon Cities manager in December 2019. He managed 18 games, with 17 coming in the league and the other in the FA Cup. He won just 4 of the 18 games, drew 8 and lost 6.
Legon Cities are expected to announce a new manager in the coming days.
According to reports, the club is linked with former Hearts of Oak manager Kim Grant, Eleven Wonders’ Ignatius Osei Fosu and Black Stars “B” manager Ibrahim Tanko.
