OFFICIAL: Kevin Prince-Boateng joins Monza

Seria B fold Ac Monza have confirmed the acquisition of Ghanaian forward Kevin Prince-Boateng from Fiorentina for an undisclosed fee.

Boateng joins the newly promoted Seria B side from Fiorentina on a year contract, with the option to extend for a further year, subject to certain conditions.

The 33-year-old has reunited with ex-Milan leaders Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani.

The duo are building a new football dynasty at Monza and have made Boateng their 11th signing of the summer as they hope to secure Seria A promotion by the end of the season.

Monza becomes Boateng’s 14th career club, he has previously played for Hertha Berlin, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth, AC Milan, Schalke 04, Eintracht Frankfurt, Las Palmas, US Sassuolo and some few others.

Boateng has made 15 appearances for Ghana, scoring 2 goals. He has also represented Ghana at two FIFA World Cup tournaments (2010 and 2014).
