Dreams FC youngster Cletus Nombil has signed for Israeli Division One outfit Hapoel Jerusalem.

Cletus joins on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

The 20-year-old landed in Israel two weeks ago, but had to go through a mandatory 14 days quarantine, a measure put in place by the Israeli government to prevent the importation of the COVID-19 virus.

“We are happy to announce the signing of Claytos Numbil!”

“Claytos grew up in Ghana’s leading football academy, in 2018 loaned to Sparta Prague (U-19).”

“This is a key link that can play in all link positions and we expect him to contribute a lot to the club”

“We thank Yossi Lipkin, who contributed greatly to the completion of the move.

“Come on Claytus, Lets Go❗️,” Hapoel Jerusalem wrote on it official Twitter handle in Hebrew.

Cletus becomes the latest Dreams FC player to sign for an Israeli outfit after Leonard Tawiah, Montari Kamaheni and Samuel Alabi.

The burgeoning midfielder joined Dreams FC from Division One fold Mighty Jets in 2018 and has since become an integral member of the team. He was a key member of the Dreams FC team that won the GHALCA top 8 competition.

The 20-year-old has in the past been linked with a move to Scottish club Heart of Midlothian, Czech outfit Sparta Prague and AIK Stockholm of Sweden.

Nombil is expected to improve the Hapoel Jerusalem side that is aiming at securing promotion to the Israeli top flight league by the end of the season.
