Ghana Premier League holders Asante Kotoko SC have announce former Burkina Faso Coach Seydou Zerbo as new Head Coach.
The Porcupine Warriors have been in hunt of a new Coach following the shocking resignation of Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum earlier this month.
The club after weeks of hunting for a new Coach has identified Burkinabè trainer Seydou Zerbo as new Head Coach.
The 59-year-old who is nicknamed “Krol” after a Dutch tactician joins the Porcupine Warriors on a year deal with an option to extend for a further year.

Zerbo last managed the Burkina Faso national team at the 2020 CHAN tournament in Cameroon, where they exited the competition in the group stages.
The highly-rated tactician has previously managed Rail Club du Kadiogo, Bankuy Sports, SONABEL, ASFA Yennenga and Union Sportive des Forces Armées.
Seydou Zerbo has been tasked to lead the Porcupine Warriors to defend the betPawa Premier League title and as well make an impact in the CAF Champions League.
Meanwhile, the club has announced that their preseason trip to Turkey has officially been cancelled.
The Reds have now opted to travel to Sudan from 21st August 2022 to 1st September 2022 for the preseason tour, where they’ll engaged in friendly games against opponents qualified for CAF competitions.
The Porcupine Warriors will play their first friendly game against Sudanese Champions Al Hilal Omdurman on Tuesday, August 23 at the Al Hilal Stadium in Sudan.
