Head Coach of the Women’s National team of Nigeria, Randy Waldrum has invited 23 players to camping starting Sunday, October 17, 2021 for the 2022 Women African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against the Black Queens of Ghana.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria will first play Ghana at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Wednesday, 20th October, before traveling to Accra for the reverse fixture on Sunday, 24th October.
On the list is goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, veteran center-back Onome Ebi, Spanish-based midfielders Rita Chikwelu, Rasheedat Ajibade and Toni Oyedupe Payne. Barcelona forward and skipper for the team Asisat Oshoala also made the list.
The winner over the two legs will join hosts Morocco and 10 other countries for the 12th edition of the Women AFCON to be staged next year.
