Dreams FC will come up against Sierra Leone fold Kallon FC in the final qualifying round of the CAF Confederations Cup should they go past Milo de Kankan in ongoing round.
The Ghana MTN FA Cup holders will play Milo de Kankan in the second leg of the Confederation Cup on Sunday, August 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium after drawing 1-1 in the first leg days ago.

Winner of the game was scheduled to face one of Kallon FC of Sierra Leone and AS Douanes of Niger. However, news coming in indicates that AS Douanes have pulled out of the qualifiers.

Niger’s AS Douanes pulled out citing the closure of the country’s Air and land borders amid the current political unrest in the West African country.
The revelation was made in a letter which read: “We are in receipt of a correspondence from CAF on the above subject dated 23 August 2023
informing the SLFA of the official communication on AS Douances FC of Niger decision to pull out of the aforementioned competition.
“Accordingly, CAF noted in its email that your club (KALLON FC) has automatically qualified to the second Rounds stage of 2023-24 CAF CC competition.
“In view of the above, I write to communicate this latest action from CAF and at the same time congratulate you and the entire management staff on behalf of the SLFA,” the statement added.

The games between Kallon FC and the winner of the game between Dreams and Milo de Kankan are scheduled for September 15-17 and September 29 to October 1.
Winner will earn a historic place in the Group stages of the Confederation Cup.
Meanwhile, Dreams after drawing with Milo in the first leg 1-1 in Conakry need at least a scoreless draw in the second leg on Sunday to progress to play Kallon.
