The Ghanaian enjoyed his best season ever in Europe last season, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists in all competitions.
Kudus’s form has earned him a place on the wanted list of numerous clubs in Europe top leagues. However, he’s unperturbed by the links and focused on doing well with the rest of his teammates in the new season.
“I was spending my holidays in Ghana with family, it was nice and calm. Now we have to do better than last season, that’s the expectation. To win the league and to do better in the Europa League,” Kudus told Ajax media.
Mohammed Kudus joined the rest of his Ajax teammates on Wednesday for preseason. The Ghanaian will hope to stay fit and maintain his fine form from last season.
Ajax who finished last season without a trophy will officially begin the 2023/24 season with a league clash against Heracles Almelo on Saturday, August 12.
