Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been named in the Dutch Eredivisie Team of the Month for September.
The youngster, who sealed a €9m move from Danish fold Nordjaelland earlier this summer featured in two games.
Kudus, who was an unused sub in the first Erevidisie game of the season against Sparta Rotterdam grabbed the man of the match award in his first start in the Erevidisie against RKC Waalwijk, the game ended 3-0 in favor of Ajax.
The former Right to Dream graduate delivered again in his second start of the season against Vitesse, he provided the assist for the second goal as 10-man Ajax won 2-1.
The 20-year-old’s performance hasn’t gone unnoticed as he earned a place in the Dutch Eredivisie Team of the Month for September. Teammate Anthony also made the list.
Kudus has been invited by CK Akonnor for Ghana’s friendly games against Qatar and Mali this month. But it is unclear whether the youngster will honor the invitation after he picked up an injury in training.
