Ghana came from a goal down to defeat Central African Republic 2-1 and secure a place at the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Ivory Coast next year.
Central African Republic took the lead in the 25th minute, Louis Mafouta latched onto a precise through ball and went round goalkeeper, before tapping the ball into the net.
The Black Stars pulled parity in the 43rd minute, Mohammed Kudus struck home a perfect free-kick from the edge of the box.
In the 89th minute, two substitutes Antoine Semenyo and Ernest Nuamah combined fi guve Ghana the lead. Semenyo robbed the ball off a defender to set up Nuamah who made no mistake from close range, 2-1.
The 2-1 win sees Ghana top Group E with 12 points, in the process securing a place at the AFCON to be played in Ivory Coast in January and February next year.
