Posted by Mendez FC and Doxa-H United FC will face off in the final of the Accra North District Football Association (ANDFA) Division Three middle league.
The two teams secured a place in the final after topping their respective groups in the middle league.
Mendez commenced the middle league with a 3-1 win in the first game against Prestige Heights, before drawing scoreless with Bayern Munich in the final group game.
The result was not enough to send the team into the final. However, a protest against Bayern Munich for using an unqualified player in the final group game changed the team’s fate.
Doxa-H United FC on the other hand encountered a slightly different fate, winning the first game 4-3 and losing the final group game 1-0. But a protest against Onion FC was enough to send them into the final.
The final will be played on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the Alajo AstroTurf at 3:00pm. Winner will secure a place in the 2023/24 Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Division Two League.
