Medeama arrange two highly profile friendly games as part of CAF Champions League preparations

2022/23 betPawa Premier League winners Medeama SC has arranged two highly profile friendly games as part of their preparations for the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.

The Mauves and Yellows are scheduled to represent Ghana in the prestigious continental club competition and have been drawn against Remo Stars of Nigeria in the Preliminary round.

As part of preparations for the games, the club has arranged friendly games against newly promoted betPawa Premier League side, Nations FC and Togolese giants, ASKO de Kara.

Medeama will take on Nations FC on ‪Thursday, August 3, before taking on ASKO de Kara on Sunday, August 6. Both games are scheduled to take place at the Cape Coast Stadium, where the club will play their home games in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League.

The games against Remo Stars are scheduled for Sunday, August 20, 2023 in Cape Coast and Sunday, August 27 at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ogun State.

Should Medeama emerge victorious, they’ll play come up against 20-time Guinean champions, Horoya in the second round of qualifiers, with the first leg scheduled for September 15-17 and the second leg September 29 to October 1.

Meanwhile, D.C. United has announced that their friendly game Medeama SC will come up on Saturday, October 14 at the Audi Field in Washington, D.C.
