Legon Cities goalkeeper Eric Ofori-Antwi has divulged that he has informed management of the club to terminate his contract.
The former Black Satellites goalkeeper joined the Royals for two seasons at the start of the just ended season. However, after less than a year at the club, Ofori Antwi has informed management of his desire to terminate his contract.
“Yes it is true, and to be honest with you, I will not want to play for Legon cities next season,” Eric Ofori-Antwi said on Accra-based KFM TV in an exclusive interview with Enoch Adadevoh.
“Despite signing two years contract with the club, I feel this is the right time for me to leave the club and look for another challenge elsewhere. Probably play for another team outside Ghana and that’s why I have taken this decision [to leave Legon cities],” he added.
Recent reports has it that Eric Ofori/Antwi will join his hometown club Nsoatreman once his contract with Legon Cities is terminated.
Howbeit, he has downplayed those reports, revealing that he now wants to play outside the country and has his sights on Tanzania.
