Legon Cities have chalked another success off the field as they become the first Ghanaian club to conduct coronavirus testing on their players.

According to a board member of the club, Fred Agbenyor all registered players together with technical staffs of the Club have undergone the tests with the result coming out negative.

“We have conducted a covid-19 test for all our players and staff and by the grace of God it all came negative”, Fred Agbenyo told Atinka FM

He also divulged that the club paid $80 per test.

With other clubs reluctant on conducting the COVID-19 test on their players due to financial reasons, Fred Agbenyo urged the government to support the clubs conduct the test.

The club currently awaits the verdict on the fate of the league as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is expected to make a decision latest by June 30.
