Kumasi Asante Kotoko wrap up two deals

Ghana Premier League holders Kumasi Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of two players.

The players include midfielder Enoch Morrison and Cameroonian goalkeeper Moise D’assise Pouaty.

The aforementioned players have held successful negotiations and underwent mandatory medicals with the Porcupine Warriors and are expected to join the rest of the team for the preseason tour in Turkey.

Enoch Morrison who was one of the best midfielders in the Ghana Premier League last season joins the Porcupine Warriors on a three year from regional rivals King Faisal.

The 22-year old made 29 appearances for King Faisal last season, scored 7 goals, provided 2 assists and won 2 man of the match awards.

Cameroon goalkeeper Moise D’assise Pouaty also joins the Porcupine Warriors on a free transfer for the next two years.

The 26-year old is known in particular for his outstanding reflexes, agility, and shot-stopping ability between the posts.

Moise D’assise Pouaty has in the past played for Cameroonian folds International Sporting FC, Colombe Sport, Fortuna du Mfou and Union Douala. He has also played for American USL Championship side Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.

Asante Kotoko are expected to announce more signings has they set sights on retaining the Ghana Premier League title and making an impact in the CAF Champions.

The team will depart Ghana on Sunday to continue preparations for the new season in Turkey.
