The fifth edition of the Ghana Football Awards was held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Sunday, June 25, 2023.
The awards which is established to project Ghanaian football excellence and recognize Ghanaian footballers and other stakeholders for their achievement at home and around the globe saw Mohammed win the topmost award, footballer of the year.
Medeama swept the awards, winning the Coach of the year (Evans Augustine Adotey), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the year (Moses Armah), Goalkeeper of the year (Felix Kyei) and club of the year.
Blessing Shine Agbomdzi of ASFAR, Morocco was named female footballer of year. Ernest Nuamah scooped the Odartey Lamptey Future Star award, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen was named African player of the year and so on.
