Posted by Greater Accra-based Division Two side, Kotoku Shining Stars FC will commence preseason on Monday, August 21, 2023.
On the date, all players and technical team members are expected to report to the team’s training ground for preparations for the 2023/24 football season to get underway.
Last season, the team were fantastic in Zone four of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Division Two League.
However, they missed out on place in the middle league after finishing second in the zone with 50 points, 5 points behind runners up of the middle league, Desidero.
Heading into the new season, Kotoku Shining Stars have set sights on qualifying for the middle league and further securing a place in the Access Bank Division One League.
Also, the team will hold a justify your inclusion from Wednesday, August 16 to Friday, August 18 at the Asofa Koans Park from 7am each day.
The essence of the three-day exercise which is open to players across the country is to recruit young and quality players.
The selected players will be integrated into the team for the new season which is expected to kick off in November 2023.
