Kumasi Asante Kotoko has confirmed the arrival of defender Patrick Asmah.
The left back signed a two year contract on a free transfer with the Porcupine Warriors after passing a mandatory Medicals yesterday at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Patrick Asmah signed for Atalanta from B.A United in 2016 after his excellent display for the Black Satellites (U-20) at the 2015 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand.
However, he failed to break into the first team and was sent on loan at Avellino, Salernitana and Senica.
Asmah is Kotoko’s 3rd signing this transfer window after Emmanuel Keyekeh and Yusif Mubarak.
The 24-year-old is expected to play a key in Maxwell Konadu’s side as he hopes to win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier league and also make an impact in the CAF Champions League.
