King Faisal scored two goals in the second half to beat Real Tamale United (RTU) 2-0 and in the process end a run of four consecutive league defeats.
The first half of the game saw no goals and it was sort of a straight battle between King Faisal’s Mawuli Wayo and goalkeeper Yaw Osei.
King Faisal started the second half just like they played in the first half and took a deserving lead in the 57th minute, David Oppong Afrane leapt high to head in a corner-kick from Mawuli Wayo.
King Faisal doubled their lead in the 75th minute, Enoch Morrison was at the right place to tap in a rebound to wrap up a 2-0 victory for his side.
