Besiktas midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng says he would love to return to the Black Stars after being away for a while.
Kevin Prince Boateng who has featured for German youth sides switched allegiance in 2010 to present Ghana at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Four years later at the World Cup in Brazil, the midfielder was sacked from camp ahead of Ghana’s final group game against Portugal. It was reported that Boateng was involved in an altercation with then manager Kwesi Appiah.
Speaking in a Live video with blood brother Jerome Boateng on Instagram, the former Milan man revealed his dream of returning to the Black Stars.
”My relationship with Ghana is still intact. I still feel close to them,” the former Barcelona player said.
”With the national team, I didn’t like the way it ended because they gave me so much.
“But you never know, maybe I can go back and play one more time again. Or maybe the coach, you never know.”
Kevin Prince Boateng featured 15 times for Ghana, he in the process scored 2 goals.
