Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has rubbished reports that he has left the Black Stars’ WhatsApp platform following the team’s exit from the Group stages of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Per footballghana, a report from Bright Kankam Boadu of Pure FM stipulates that the youngster who made two substitute appearances for Ghana at the ongoing World Cup exited the team’s WhatsApp platform due to the lack of game time at the competition.

In a quick response, the youngster has rubbished the reports, adding that being in the Black Stars squad every time at his age (20) is always an honor.

“It’s a shame some journalists are quick to put negativity & dent the image & confidence of players for click baits without fact checking when things go wrong,” said the youngster in a post.

“There are many young 🇬🇭 players with so much talent & potential. Just being part of the squad every time at my age is always an honor.

“Every player in a team have an important role to play whether you start or not. I’m never bigger than Ghana & will never be. Entitlement is a killer of personality & dreams,” he added:

Kamaldeen Sulemana saw 57 minutes of action for Ghana at the World Cup, coming on as a substitute in the 3-2 win against South Korea and 2-0 defeat to Uruguay.

The 20-year old is currently the fastest player in this year’s World Cup. Kamal ran at a speed of 35.7 kmph in the final group game against Uruguay.
