Division One League fold, Phar Rangers has rescinded its decision to withdraw from all organised competitions of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The club which is owned by Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nana Amponsah on Monday, June 7, 2021 announced that it’ll no longer operate.
“The management and Directors of Phar Rangers have resolved to withdraw from all GFA competitions including Division One Zone 3 League and the FA Cup with immediate effect,” a statement read on Monday.
“Consider the club defunct henceforth.”
But in a twist of events, the club after several stakeholders engagement and calls from the public has rescinded its decision.
“Upon several stakeholder’s engagement and calls for us to reconsider our position in the public interest, we hereby rescind our earlier decision” the statement reads.
“We are aware of the repercussions of the other clubs and the league as a whole. These and other factors have resulted in the need to rescind the decision in the interest of Ghana football as a whole”

PHAR Rangers currently sit 14th on the Division One Zone 3 league table with 21 points. The club recently defeated Dreams FC on penalties after a 2-2 run progress to the Round 32 of the MTN FA Cup.
