Okwahu United, a veteran of the Ghanaian game secured promotion to the Division One League in a remarkable fashion, going through the entire campaign with an unblemished record to secure the ticket.
The former Premier League side won 15 of their 18 games played in the regular league, drawing the other 3 games. In the middle league, Okwahu United have won all 4 of their games played so far, securing promotion with a game to end the league.
Okwahu United in the middle league thumped Right to Dream Academy, Super FC, Kwaebibirem United and B.S Pelicans in an all play all affair.
The Kwahu based side kicked off the middle league with a 5-0 win against Right to Dream Academy, before beating Super FC 4-1, Kwaebibirem United 2-1 and B.S Pelicans 3-1.
With a game to spare, Okwahu United secure promotion with 12 points, 5 more points than second placed Live Now Academy.
The Asaase Aban outfit will be competing in Zone Three of the Division One League next season, where they’ll be hoping to establish themselves and ultimately secure promotion to the Premier League.
