The Black Stars of Ghana will play against Brazil in an International friendly next month as part of the build up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 finals.
This follows the decision of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to postpone matches in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The game will take place on Friday, September 23, 2022 at a yet to be named venue in Europe.
Ghana will also take on Switzerland in a similar exercise on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the Baniyas Club Stadium in Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates.
The matches will give Coach Otto Addo the platform to continue the assessment of his players in the build up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 finals in Doha.
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korean and Uruguay. the World Cup to be played between from November 20 to December 18, 2022.
Ghana will kick start their campaign against Portugal at the 974 stadium on Thursday, November 24, before taking on South Korea on Monday, November 28 at the Educational City Stadium and Uruguay on Friday, December 2 at the Al Janoub Stadium.
The international friendly matches against the Brazil and Switzerland are will give Ghana a boost going into the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament.
