Embattled Former Premier League side AshantiGold have secured another injunction on the Ghana Premier League.

The Miners are contesting the Ghana Football Association’s decision to demote the club to the Division Two League and also ban its Directors from Ghana football for match fixing.

Earlier this week, a Human Rights Court in Accra lifted an injunction on the league secured by AshantiGold. The injunction which was secured in the latter parts of last month put the league on hold for weeks.

Following the lifting of the injunction, the league was expected to resume on Saturday, October 29. However, another injunction secured by AshantiGold means the league to be put on hold, a worrying situation for the Ghana FA, the Premier League clubs and its members, including fans.
