Frederick Asare played an integral role for Accra Lions in their maiden qualification to the Premier League. He was also fantastic for the team last season as they cemented their stay in the Premier League for another season.
The highly-rated goalkeeper made 26 appearances for the team and kept 12 clean sheeets. A feat which earned him a call-up to the local national team, the Black Galaxies for the 2023 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
