Ghanaian center back Joseph Larweh Attamah on Thursday evening powered Fatih Karagümrük to secure Turkey Süper Lig promotion over his former outfit Adana Demirspor.
Joseph Attamah earned a place in the starting 11 and played full throttle including Extra time.
Çagri Ortakaya opened the scoring for Fatih Karagümrük in the 40th minute.
Pa Dibba restored parity for Adana Demirspor in the 69th minute.
The game after 90 minutes and extra time ended 1-1. Penalty shootouts was needed to separate the two sides.
Fatih Karagümrük won the penalty shootouts 6-5, with Joseph Attamah converting his kick.
The former Tema Youth Star joined Fatih Karagümrük on loan from Istanbul Basaksehir in January. He featured in 17 games and provided 2 assists without scoring.
Attamah will return to his parent club Basaksehir, but it is unclear whether Fatih Karagümrük will like to sign him after permanently helping them secure promotion.
