Posted by Celta Vigo center back, Joseph Aidoo has become the third Black Stars player to test positive for Covid-19 after friendly games against Mali and Qatar in Antalya, Turkey.
The stalwart center back joins Besiktas midfielder Bernard Mensah and Victoria Guimaraes left back Gideon Mensah.
This comes in after the players went through a mandatory Covid-19 test after returning to their various clubs from international duty with the Black Stars.
All three players have now been placed under 14 days isolation in the countries of their respective clubs and will not be in action for their clubs this weekend.
Celta Vigo’s game against Atletico Madrid is likely to be postponed after Joseph Aidoo became the fourth Celta Vigo player to test positive for the deadly virus. He joins Brais Méndez, Santi Mina and Sergio Álvarez.
Meanwhile, Black management member, Jones Abu Alhassan has also tested positive for the virus and is currently under 14 days isolation in Turkey.
