Jordan Ayew’s Solo goal against West Ham has shockingly failed to make the list of the best 9 goals in the 2019/20 English Premier League season.
With the game still level (1-1), Jordan Ayew in the dying embers of the game maneuvered his way into the West Ham 18 yard box with a collection of skills before he calmly chipped the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper Roberto Jiménez.
Despite the effort, brilliance, timing and relevance of the goal, it failed to make the list of the best 9 goals scored in the 2019/20 Premier league season.
The decision has however left a lot of football followers angry as they’ve taken to social media to express their dissatisfaction.
The nominees for the prestigious award include Manchester City’s Kevin De Brunye, Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, Son Heung Ming of Tottenham etc.

Reactions from Twitter users over Ayew’s exclusion:
This goal was scored in the 90th minute and was a winning goal. It's up there not just in terms of technique but also relevance.
Jordan Ayew robbed.

Ayew’s is the goal of the season and it’s not even nominated. Half of these are just average goals. pic.twitter.com/gdOZ39jeca

Where's Jordan Ayew's goal?
It's unwise to be robbing a black dude at this time🥴 https://t.co/VtqvEVl55y— 𝕾𝖊𝖑𝖔𝖗𝖒 (@prosper_selorm) August 7, 2020
This list is all wrong. Some of these barely made goal of the month let alone GOTS. So many worldies left out and for what? Bruno should never be on this list, jahanbaksh neither and longstaff out. Tomori, Zaha and Jordan Ayew robbed also. https://t.co/ZrYMm681PX

Jordan Ayew scored brilliant goal against WestHam United but you didn't nominate that goal.
Non of the players here goals can beat that goal by Ayew. @PremierLeague why? https://t.co/ouW20A4zzP

None can be compared to Jordan Ayew's goal

Jordan Ayew's goal has been sidelined not because it wasn't great or the Premier League didn't acknowledge him.
But because they are still in shock to have seen such a brilliant goal coming in from such a player who has been highly underrated.
They wish he was English.

Jordan Ayew’s goal couldn't make the cut to be nominated for goal of the season award.
Premier League managers what are you up to?
