Legon Cities and Medeama drew blank at the Accra Sports Stadium as the first win of the new Premier league season for the two club waits on. The Royals enjoyed a good first 45 minutes, Raphael Ocloo and Nat Akwa coming the closest to scoring for them, whiles Ebenezer Ackhabi came close to scoring for Medeama. The game saw little chances in the second half, the biggest highlight of the half was Asamoah’s introduction in the 70th minute, making a return to the local league after 17 years of being away. The game ended scoreless.

Eleven Wonders continued their impressive start to the new season as they picked a crucial point against Liberty in Dansoman. Eleven Wonders opened the scoring of the game in the 43rd minute through George Osei Amposah. Liberty Professionals instantly hit back through Kweku Karikari. Both sides pushed forward for the winning goal in the second half but to no avail.

ADUANA STARS 0-0 BECHEM UNITED
The first Bono Derby of the season ended scoreless. Aduana Stars came into the game without the services of talisman Yahaya Mohammed who was injured, and that was evident on the field. Aduana Stars missed a number of good chances in the second half, with most of those chances falling to Samuel Bioh who failed to make even one count. Bechem United also asked their own questions, but Caleb Amankwah was always there with the answers.

EBUSUA DWARFS 1-0 BEREKUM CHELSEA
Ebusua Dwarfs recorded their first win of the season as they defeated Berekum Chelsea 1-0. Martin Tsiboah scored the goal for Ebusua Dwarfs in the 21st minute with a fine strike. Berekum Chelsea pushed men forward hoping to grab the equalizer, but Dwarfs held on to win the day.

KARELA UNITED 2-1 DREAMS FC
Karela United continued their impressive start to the new season as they defeat Dreams FC 2-1. Dreams FC opened the scoring in the 40th minute through Joseph Esso. Karela hit back instantly through Franklin Osei. Karela went ahead in the 65th minute through Franklin Osei. The game ended 2-1.

WAFA 1-1 ELMINA SHARKS
Elmina Sharks recorded their 3rd draw of the season against WAFA at the Sogakope park. The fearsome Sharks scored the first goal of the game in the dying embers of the first half through Justice Mensah. WAFA came pushing after the recess and had a deserving equalizer in the 55th minute, Augustine Boakye calmly coverted a pass from Daniel Agbloe. Both sides from then pushed men forward for the winning goal but to no avail. The game ended 1-1.

INTER ALLIES 1-0 HEARTS OF OAK
Inter Allies defeated Hearts of Oak 1-0 to record their first win of tie season. The Phobians dominated the first and should have at least been a goal up at the break. Obeng Jnr and Patrick Razak missed some good opportunities. The tempo of the game reduced at the start of the second half, but Richmond Lamptey sent the stadium buzzing when his ferocious effort from distance beat Richard Arthur, not even two goalkeepers would have kept that out. Hearts of Oak pushed on in the remaining minutes of the game but failed to get the equalizing goal. The game ended 1-0, Hearts taste their first defeat of the season.
