Just as long as the World continues, we will never see an end to the debate on who’s Ghana’s greatest player of all time (GOAT), not even by the players themselves.

Former Accra Hearts of Oak Star, Mohammed Polo has reiterated that he’s the greatest player the country has ever seen.

Three times African best player of the year, Abedi Pele had recently in an interview on GTV sports plus revealed his admiration for Mohammed Polo and how he looked up to him.

“Polo was my idol, he was everything to me, when I see Polo play it was just magical” he told GTV Sports Plus.

“The way he weaves through, the way he gives his body swerves, the way he runs”

“I was just glued at the stadium watching Mohammed Polo” he concluded.

Reacting to the claim, Mohammed Polo has reiterated he’s the best the country has ever seen, stating no one can debate on the subject matter any longer since Abedi Pele who’s regarded as the best Ghanaian player ever by many football followers looked up to him.

“If a whole Abedi Pele is saying am the best, he looked up to me coming up as a player with all what he has done for Ghana then, who else should I wait for him to say am the best”, he told Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio.

“I am just hoping that these young ones will come and break the record that I have set in Ghana” he concluded
