Being amongst one of the very few Ghanaian youngsters to have the privilege to travel and tour around the globe, Eric Mensah led his team as captain to participate in European summer tournaments in many countries including a tour at Borussia Dortmund’s signal Iduna Park in Germany.
As usual, he was the talisman of his side as his team took on the U-18 side of the Yellow & Black in a game that ended in a goalless stalemate — A game full of potentials and a battle for ‘stay’ for the Ghanaian young players.
Eric Mensah, born in December 2007 have had call-ups to Ghana U15 and U17 national teams but however, yet to make a competitive appearance in any major tournaments. The budding talent is known for pace, sharp crosses and inter-positional play with versatility and amazing dribbling skills.
“The tour was amazing, I was able to showcase my talent to the few coaches and agents who came around. I’ve also learnt a lot on the road and I’m glad I’m able to blend different football styles together. Finally I’m hoping any of the teams offer a good development plan and will see what’s next for me” he said.

The sixteen year-old prospect currently is a registered player for MSK Zilina Africa in Ghana and being chased by several clubs abroad for his signature.
