Hearts of Oak feeder side, Auroras have secured the final place in the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) 2022/23 Division Two Middle League.
Auroras secured the final place in the Middle League after beating FCM Maamobi 6-2 in the final game of the season at the Kisseman Nunu Park on Thursday afternoon.
The Hearts of Oak feeder side grabbed their goals through a hat-trick from Hamza Issah and a goal each from Michael Adjetey, Prince Rashid and Theodore Quartey.
The win ensured that Auroras finish top of Zone Five table with 50 points, edging Besiktas Football Academy who were 2-1 winners in their final game against 7th Wave by a point.
Auroras will battle with five other teams who were winners in their respective zones for a single ticket to play in the 2023/24 Access Bank National Division One League.
The teams include; Accra Athletic (Zone One winners), Danbort (Zone Two winners), Banana Inn (Zone Three winners), Desidero (Zone Four winners) and Still Believe (Zone Six winners).
The Middle League will be launched on Monday, June 12 at the GHALCA Secretariat, Accra Sports Stadium. The mini-league is scheduled to kickoff on Saturday, June 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
