Yesterday, the news broke on social media that Hearts of Oak youngster Manaf Umar has taken to his personal Twitter account to allegedly beg actress Efia Odo for a paltry sum of 10gh during her donations to her followers to ease their financial crisis during this Coronavirus pandemic.
The news caused a stir on social media as most people jumped on the issue to lampoon the club and the youngster.
In the wake of that, the club took to it official twitter handle to debunk the reports by saying the player’s twitter account was hacked.
The move didn’t go down well with most football fans as majority thought or believe Manaf had no intention of begging for money, and was only enjoying a good time off the field. They also added that the tweet from Hearts was unnecessary and the club must learn to stay silent on certain issues.
Section of football fans also believe Manaf’s actions was due to the club’s inability to give the players good salary, hence the players are struggling to eat in this torrid time.
Others also believe it was a good move by club because it reputation and that of the player was in disrepute.
Gary. Hearts of oak social media accounts has been poor now of days. Anything, they want to react.

The player admitted to people it's his account and the phone number is his. Just acknowledge his actions and promise to reprimand the player.
Denying he did this and claiming his account was hacked has just made this a whole lot murkier. https://t.co/VqIRh8JJfr

**This perfectly fits into the agenda of those journalist and sports presenters who always take delight in disgracing our club; but seriously, I think the club should carry out a further investigation into the matter.*

You allowed the guys to get themselves involved in anything on social Media, liking things unnecessarily, engaging in everything thing. What do you think will happen without you teaching them social media manners?

Is very obvious that some people are not happy with the recent transformation of my darling club… Phobia… So they will take delight in useless news such as this to bring the club name to disrepute.. But hearts is bigger than this…..
