Posted by Accra Hearts of Oak will face Malian side AS Real Bamako in First round of the 2022/23 CAF Confederations Cup.
AS Real Bamako secured a place in the First round after they defeated Burkina Faso side AS Douanes in the Preliminary round. The Malian side won 3-1 on penalty shootouts after the tie failed to produce goals.
Real Bamako will now face Hearts of Oak who were amongst 13 clubs exempted from participating in the Preliminary round of the CAF prestigious competition.
The games between the two sides are slated for October, 7-10 at the Stade du 26 Mars de Bamako and October, 14-17 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The winner of the tie will secure in a place in the final qualifying round, where the winners will make it to the Group stages.
