Hearts of Oak name squad for MTN FA Cup final as a number of key players miss out

MTN FA Cup holders Hearts of Oak will be without a number of key players for the MTN FA Cup final against Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Phobians have set sights on winning their 13th MTN FA Cup when they face the Hunters in Kumasi. However, they’ll have to do so without a number of their key players due to injuries and other reasons.

Sulley Muntari, Isaac Mensah, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen, Amankwah Baafi and Ibrabim Salifu didn’t make the squad for the game.

Robert Addo Sowah who has been injured for most parts of the season returns and he’s named in the squad for the game. Kofi Kordzi, Patrick Razak and Isaac Agyenim Boateng have all been included in the squad.

A win for Hearts of Oak on Sunday will see them win a record 12th FA Cup title and as well secure a place in the 2022 CAF Confederations Cup.
