Real Tamale United (RTU) were left to rue missed chances at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium as they were held to a scoreless draw by Hearts of Oak.

The first half of the game was largely evenly contested and saw no goals. The biggest chance of the half fell to Isaac Mensah in the 13th minute, the young striker after a good run into the box failed to keep his final effort down.

Hearts of Oak were forced into making a change at the start of the second half, James Serwonu couldn’t continue due to an injury and was replaced by Larry Sumaila.

The home side dominated the opening minutes of the second half but failed to trouble goalkeeper Richard Attah.

Hearts of Oak grew into the game and created some half chances. In the 81st minute, the Phobians were reduced to 10-men, Caleb Amankwah was shown a second yellow.

RTU dominated the remaining minutes of the game and created some good chances but failed to take the chances as Hearts of Oak held on up to pick up a point.

The game between Medeama and Dreams FC was called off due to heavy downpour and will be played tomorrow at 10:00 am. Legon Cities will round the gameweek off with a home against King Faisal.

Meanwhile, Berekum Arsenal and Bechem United drew 1-1 on Friday. Frank Etouga scored a hat-trick to propel Asante Kotoko to a 3-1 win against Accra Lions.
