Accra Hearts of Oak have denied reports that the players of the club are owed 3 months salary.

Reports on Thursday morning emerged that the players of the club haven’t still received their salaries for the last 3 months, this is due to covid-19 that has had an impact on the club’s finances.

However, the club has taken to social media to deny those reports.

“The management of Accra Hearts of Oak wants to state emphatically that players of the club are not owed three months salaries as it’s been reported in the media. We therefore urge all to disregard such reports.”

Players of the club have been given a break since March after the government announced the ban on social gathering to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The club expects a decision from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) latest by June 30.
