Eleven Wonders after that impressive win moved out of the bottom three. They’ll this weekend host bottom side King Faisal. King Faisal are yet to win a game after 9 games attempts, they are the only team yet to do so this season. LEGON CITIES VS GREAT OLYMPICS (FRIDAY)

You definitely would be missing so much if you find yourself anywhere on Friday (Vals day) either than the Accra Sports Stadium. Legon Cities will welcome Olympics to the Accra Sports Stadium for the “Derby d’accra”. Who are the kings of Accra? Legon Cities are unbeaten at home in their last 3 games, they’ve won 2 games and drawn 1, they’ve in the process kept 3 clean sheets. Olympics as well have so far had a fairly okay season, they’ve won 3 of their 9 games and drawn 1. Olympics last weekend recorded a shocking defeat at home to Eleven Wonders and will hope to correct that come Friday. Can Olympics prevent the Royals from invading their territory?

BEREKUM CHELSEA VS INTER ALLIES (SATURDAY)

Berekum Chelsea were last weekend single handedly annihilated and whitewashed by Benjamin Boateng, Elmina Sharks defeated Berekum Chelsea by 3-1, the defeat was Berekum Chelsea’s second of the season and second consecutive away defeat. Chelsea are unbeaten at the Berekum Golden City Park, they’ve won 2 games and drawn 2 at the ground. Scoring goals though has been a herculean task for them at the ground, they’ve scored just 3 goals in 4 games. Inter Allies have so far scored 14 goals in the league, which is the most in the league, but keeping clean sheets has been difficult for them, they’ve kept just a single clean sheet and conceded 15 goals, which is the second most in the league. Inter allies in their last away game scored 3 times, so Berekum Chelsea will have to be wary of the treat they possess in attack with the sensational Victorien Adebayor.

Match trivia: Victorien Adebayor has scored 8 goals this season, the most in the league by any player.

Venue: Golden City Park, Berekum.

ASANTE KOTOKO VS ASHANTI GOLD (SUNDAY)

Talking of Derbies coming on this gameweek, Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold will present to us the Ashanti Region Derby, patently the biggest fixture of the gameweek. After two impressive away performances from the Porcupine Warriors, a draw against WAFA and a 1-0 victory against a Dreams. Kotoko will be back playing at home against regional rivals Ashanti Gold, the game will be their last game of the 3 matches stadium ban imposed on them after gameweek 3. Ashanti Gold last weekend picked their 5th victory of the season after beating Great Olympics 1-0, the victory pushed them to 2nd place. The miners have the best defense in the league, they’ve conceded 2 goals in 9 games and kept 7 clean sheets. Both Kotoko and Ashanti Gold have similar points but are separated by goal difference.

EBUSUA DWARFS VS KARELA (SUNDAY)

Two teams in the relegation zone Dwarfs and Karela will meet at the Cape Coast Stadium. Dwarfs last weekend picked their first point on the road and their first clean sheet of the season after holding Bechem United to a scoreless game. Ebusua Dwarfs have won their last two games at home, with the last one being an impressive 3-1 victory against Aduana Stars. Karela United last weekend had a dagger trenched in their heart, they conceded a late equalizer against Medeama in the Akoon derby. Karela have been awful away from home this season, they’ve lost 3 of their 4 away games and drawn the other 1. A record they’ll like to change come Sunday.

Match trivia: Ebusua Dwarfs have won their last two home games, whiles Karela have lost the last 3 by an aggregate scoreline of 5-0.

Prediction: 2-1

HEARTS OF OAK VS BECHEM UNITED (SUNDAY)

Accra Hearts of Oak will welcome Bechem United to the Accra Sports Stadium. The Phobians have won just 1 of the 4 games they’ve played at the venue, they’ve drawn 1 and lost the other 2. Hearts of Oak have also struggled to score goals this season, they’ve scored just 6 goals so far, the worst in the league this season. Bechem United sit just two places above the Phobians, the Bechem side are really struggling to pick points away from home this season. They’ve picked just a single point away from home this season, which was in a 2-2 draw against King Faisal in gameweek 4. They’ll hope to end that bad record against a Hearts side struggling home.

Match trivia: Hearts of Oak with 6 goals have scored the least goals in the league this season.

Venue: Accra Sports Stadium

LIBERTY PROFESSIONALS VS ADUANA STARS (SUNDAY)

Liberty Professionals have now been cleared to use the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park, Liberty we’re banned from using the ground since their 2-1 defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak. They’ll on Sunday welcome Aduana Stars to the ground as they search for their first home win of the season. Liberty have so far played 4 home games, they’ve lost 2 and drawn. A record they’ll like to improve on Sunday. Aduana Stars last weekend were held by Hearts of Oak to a goalless draw game. Aduana have had an horrendous form away from home, they’ve lost 2 of their last 3 away games, with the defeats coming against sides they were at least expected to draw against, Eleven Wonders and Ebusua Dwarfs.

Match trivia: Liberty have picked 2 out of the available 12 points at home.

Prediction: 1-1

MEDEAMA VS ELMINA SHARKS (SUNDAY)

Medeama will host Elmina Sharks at the Akoon Park. The Proud of the west are unbeaten at the ground this season, they’ve won all four home games, with 3 of the 4 victories coming against sides expected to push for the title later in the season (Hearts, Kotoko, Ashanti Gold). Elmina Sharks last weekend recorded an impressive 3-1 victory against Berekum Chelsea at home, the victory was only their second victory of the season and first home victory. They’ll hope to secure their 3rd victory come Sunday, but that won’t come on a silver platter. They’ll have to silence the in form Prince Opoku Agyemang.

Match trivia: Medeama have a 100% home record. They’ve won all 4 games at home.

Venue: Akoon Park, Tarkwa

Kickoff time: 3pm

Prediction: 1-0

WAFA VS DREAMS (SUNDAY)

Dreams won’t have good memories traveling to Sogakope to play WAFA, the last time WAFA hosted them in the league, they were thrashed by 5-0. WAFA so far this season are yet to hit full gear. They’ve won 3 games, recorded 5 draws and lost just a game. The 5 draws is the most by any team in the league this season. Winning at the Sogakope Stadium this season has become strenuous for WAFA, they’ve won just a game in 4 attempts, they’ve drawn two and lost the other one. Dreams last weekend recorded their second successive defeat at home, they’ve now lost 3 of their last 4 games. Surely not a form expected from a team that wants to finish in the Top 4. They’ll travel to Sogakope this weekend without the injured Emmanuel Ocran and the suspended Dantani Amadu, making their task in Sogakope more difficult.

Match trivia: Dreams have lost 3 of their last 4 games.

Venue: Sogakope Stadium

Kickoff time: 3pm

Match OfficialsReferee: Patrick Okyere Assistants: Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey and Emmanuel Dolagbanu 4th Referee: Benjamin K. Sefa Match Commissioner: Collins Adu Yebour

Prediction: 1-0
