After a long hiatus due to Covid-19, the Ghana Division One league commenced over the weekend and as usual presented us with some exciting fixtures.

In Zone One, 6 games have so far been played. The biggest fixture of the gameweek saw Berekum Arsenal defeat Brong Ahafo United 1-0. The biggest scorers were Young Apostles who defeated Nkoranza Warriors 3-1.

The game between Tamale City and Kintampo United will be played on Tuesday. The other remaining fixture between Real Tamale United and Techiman City will be played on Thursday.

In Zone Two, 6 games have so far been played. New Edubiase defeated Achiken 1-0. Nzema Kotoko lost 1-0 at home to Gold Stars. BYF Academy scored late to defeat Wassaman United 1-0. Skyy FC drew 1-1 at home against Venomous Vipers.

The game between Proud United and Samatex 1996 has been postponed. The other fixture between Star Madrid and Hasaacas will take place on Wednesday.

In Zone Three, Heart of Lions picked up an impressive win at home against Vision FC, Accra Lions came from 2-0 goals down to beat Accra City 3-2.

Amidaus Professionals didnt turn up for their game with Kotoku Royals, whiles the other game left to complete the gameweek between Nania FC and Agbozume Weavers will be played on Friday.
