Southern Zone sides Hasaacas Ladies and Lady Strikers will square off in the final of the Ghana Women’s Premier Super Cup.
In the first semifinal, Hasaacas Ladies and Ampem Darkoa Ladies renewed their rivalry. The two teams faced off in the final of the 2020/21 Women’s Premier League and the FA Cup final, with Hasaacas Ladies getting the better of Ampem Darkoa Ladies in both games.
The trend continued today as Hasaacas Ladies were 3-0 winners. Success Ameyaa opened the scoring in the 26th minute. Veronica Appiah made it 2-0 in the 36th minute, before Success Ameyaa rounded the game up in the 60th minute.
Lady Strikers as well secured a place in the final after beating Prison Ladies 4-0. Lady Strikers got off the mark in the 5th minute through Martha Amissah after an howler by the goalkeeper.
Catherine Arthur made it 2-0 in the 11th minute from the spot kick, before Gifty Addai made 3 in the 35th minute. In the second half, Sandra Narh wrapped the game up with the 4th.
The two losers Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Prison Ladies will clash at the Madina Astro Turf on Saturday, December 4 for the 3rd spot. The final between Hasaacas Ladies and Lady Strikers will also take place on the same day at the same venue.
