Great Olympics announce signings of Jindo Morishita and Isaac Mensah; Amos Acheampong leaves on a free, four players transfer listed and two more loaned out

Accra Great Olympics have completed the signings of Japanese international Jindo Morishita and Isaac Mensah.

Jindo Morishita and Isaac Mensah join the Dade Boys on permanent basis after successful negotiations and passing mandatory medicals.

The two players are no new faces to the betPawa Premier League. Jindo Morishita, 27, in the past played for Ebusua Dwarfs. The forward was part of the squad that suffered relegation from the topflight league in 2019.

Isaac Mensah, 27, on the other hand in the past played for Hearts of Oak but failed to make a significant impact at the club. The forward outside Ghana had stint with Angolan fold Petro Luanda, where he excelled.

The two who are expected to improve the Great Olympics team that is seeking to finish in the top four become the fourth and fifth signings of the club this window.

The club has already signed Christopher Nettey, Michael Osei and Michael Osei Kweku.

Meanwhile, Amos Acheampong has left the club following the expiration of his contract, Arnold Abbey-Mensah’s contract has been terminated.

Roland Grippman has been loaned to Golden Kicks, Varney Sandro Jnr to Liberian fold Watanga, while Emmanuel Mensah has been released to Young Apostles.

Also, Prospor Avor, Francis Dadzie, Daniel Adrian Adjetey and Aryeetey Ayikwei have been placed on the transfer list.
