Former Ghana midfielder Mohammed Gargo has become the latest individual to add his voice to the growing list of people to advise “hotcake” Thomas Partey on his next move.
The Atlético Madrid midfielder has been linked with a myriad of clubs this summer transfer window, with Arsenal being favorites to secure his signature.
According to reports, Atlético Madrid have already rejected two bids from Arsenal as they hold on to the player’s £43.5 million release clause.
Reacting to the news, Mohammed Gargo has advised the 27-year-old to make a move to the Emirates.
“I think he should move,” said Gargo. “I think the subject of where he should be is going to even hype him up. It is going to make him a better player than he is now,” he added.
“Who would want to move from class three to class two instead of class four ?,’ he quizzed.
“I mean, he moving to Arsenal is going to giving him an opportunity to take a step further. It’s going to help him up and it will make him a better player for the Black Stars,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, head coach of the Black Stars, CK Akonnor has advised the combative midfielder against making a move to Arsenal.
