Bankroller of Tema Youth, Wilfred Osei Kwaku, popularly known as “Palmer” has shared his thought on the speculation surrounding Thomas Partey’s future.

Thomas Partey who has a £43.5 million release clause and a contract that runs till 2023 at Atlético Madrid is linked with a move away from the Spanish club, with Arsenal being favorites to secure his services.

Osei Palmer, who knows the player so well becomes the latest person to add his voice to the growing list of people to advice the midfielder on his next move.

Palmer first expressed his excitement seeing players who once played for his outfit Tema Youth doing well. He stated that he will be glad seeing them play for Real Madrid or Barcelona. He further urged Partey to go for the money.

“For a player, it is about the contract that you sign, so he should look at his future, because if you’ll be paid £220,000.000 a week, it is not easy money,” Palmer told Saddick Adams on Angel TV.

“That means he will take home about £140,000.000 a week after taxes, it is heavy money. He should take it and come and do something profitable in Ghana”, he ended.

Osei Palmer is currently awaiting verdict on a legal tussle between him and the Ghana Football association (GFA).
