Ghana’s position on the latest Fifa rankings released by the World Football Governing body, FIFA remains unchanged.
The Black Stars, who were placed in 52nd position in November see their position unchanged for the December ranking following their double African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Sudan.
Ghana defeated Sudan 2-0 at the Cape Coast stadium and lost 1-0 in Omdurman, Sudan. Ghana now occur 1424 points, which is similar to what they occurred last month.
In African, Ghana sit 8th, behind Senegal who are 1st in Africa and 20th on the globe, followed by Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt and Cameroon.
Meanwhile, there were no changes within the five top-ranked teams as Belgium, France, Brazil, England, and Portugal all kept their places.
Ghana will return to action in March for the 2021 AFCON qualifiers against São Tomé and Principe. The West African giants after winning 3 games and losing 1 currently sit first in group C with 9 points.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 18 February 2021.
