Ghana legends Abedi Pele and Asamoah Gyan have made big predictions for Nordsjælland and Black Meteors forward Ernest Nuamah.

Ernest Nuamah caught the attention of the masses with his fine display against Algeria in the final qualifying round of the 2023 U-23 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The youngster helped the Black Meteors win 2-1 on aggregate and in the process secure a ticket at competition to be played in Morocco in June this year.

Ernest Nuamah in the two games was a menace to the Algeria team. He provided the assist for Ghana’s goal in the away encounter which ended 1-1 and also in the home encounter which ended 1-0, setting up Abdul Fatawu Issahaku on both occasions.

The performance of the Nordsjælland forward has attracted the attention of Ghana legends, Asamoah Gyan and Abedi Pele who both believe he’s born for greatness.

“Another next big thing for Ghana. Check out the jersey number his is wearing 🙏🏿🙏🏿💪🏿💪🏿,” wrote Asamoah Gyan who’s Ghana’s all-time scorer with 51 goals from 109 appearances.

Abedi Pele, a 3-time Africa best player of the year and a member of Ghana’s last AFCON winning team also wrote: “I have had the chance to watch the clips of this maestro! He will be great 🙏. Seen✅”

Ernest Nuamah will hope to replicate similar performance at the U-23 AFCON to be played in Morocco from 24 June to 8 July 2023.

The competition will serve as qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games to be held in Paris. The top three teams from the U-23 AFCON will qualify to the Olympics.
