Head Coach of the Black Stars Otto Addo will name his final squad for the Qatar 2022 World Cup on Monday, November 11, 2022.
Last week, the Black Stars technical team headed by Otto Addo announced a provisional squad of 55 players for the competition which is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
The technical team is expected to trim the squad down to 26 players on Monday, November 11 at an event scheduled to take place the Multichoice office, Basako Enclave, Accra at 11:00 am.

Otto Addo’s squad for the Mundial is expected to be dominated by players who were involved in the last two friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua.
The likes of Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Salisu, Jordan Ayew, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Kudus and so on are expected to make the squad.
Per reports, RSC Anderlecht midfielder Majeed Ashimeru, KRC Genk forward Joseph Painstil, Cremonese’s Felix Afena-Gyan will not make the squad.
Further reports also indicates that Crystal Palace’s Jeffrey Schlupp and Eupen’s Mubarak Wakaso will not make the squad, while Daniel Afriyie, Abdul Samed Salis and Kamal Sowah have reported been included in the final squad.
Ghana’s final squad will report to camp in Abu Dhabi-UAE, where Ghana will take on Switzerland in their final preparatory game for the World Cup on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
The Black Stars have been pitted in Group H of the group stages alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
Ghana will start their campaign against Portugal on Thursday, November 24, before playing Uruguay on Monday, November 28 and South Korea on Friday, December 2.
