Posted by The fixtures for the 2019/2020 Ghana premier league season have been announced. The premier league season kicks off on the weekends of 27-29 December across the country. Top goons Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko start their season at home to Berekum Chelsea and Eleven wonders respectively. The two will renew their long standing rivalry when they meet in Accra for their first encounter of the season on Match day 6. The Bono derby between Berekum Chelsea and Aduana stars is slated for the same game week.
Asante Kotoko will host Ashantigold in an Ashanti Regional Derby in Matchday 10. The Kumasi derby between King Faisal and Kotoko will take place on the Match day 17. The Accra derby between Hearts of Oak and Olympics is scheduled for Match Day 14.
The GFA will formally launch the 2019/2020 football season on Friday 20th December 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 5pm.
